US Citizens In Nuevo Laredo Are On Lock Down – US State Department Issue Updated Travel Warnings

By ClubFreedom Posted in Videos / No Comments »
The US Department of State has issued an updated Travel Warning to inform US citizens traveling to and living in Mexico about the security situation in Mexico. The authorized departure of family members of US government personnel from US consulates in the northern Mexico border cities of Tijuana, Nogales, Ciudad Juarez, Nuevo Laredo, Monterrey and Matamoros remains in place. This Travel Warning supersedes the Travel Warning for Mexico dated May 6, 2010 to note the extension of authorized departure and to update guidance on security conditions and crime. The State Department said millions of US citizens safely visit Mexico each year. This includes tens of thousands who cross the border every day for study, tourism or business and at least one million US citizens who live in Mexico. The Mexican government makes a considerable effort to protect US citizens and other visitors to major tourist destinations. Resort areas and tourist destinations in Mexico do not see the levels of drug-related violence and crime reported in the border region and in areas along major drug trafficking routes. Nevertheless, crime and violence are serious problems. While most victims of violence are Mexican citizens associated with criminal activity, the security situation poses serious risks for US citizens as well.

It is often cheaper to leave and fly into a smaller airport or a co-terminal. If you are an inexperienced traveler, it may be better for you to travel on a direct flight, or through a smaller connection city. #2 Determine at least tentatively when you would like to leave and when you would like to arrive. This includes not only the actual day, but also the time of day you would like to arrive or leave. If possible, consider taking the earliest flight possible. Weather delays occur more often in the afternoons, when thunderstorms have had a chance to develop. Consider the fact that many of the cheaper air fares involve a weekend stay. What follows are a few means to make your air travel experience more enjoyable Traveling by plane will often restrict your packing routine because of weight restrictions. Airliners must get off the ground and that's why they can only carry so much weight. There is a good method when preparing to fly. Pack just what you need. Not only is the aircraft going to have to lift it along with everyone into the air, when its on the ground your going to be required to tote the stuff through the terminal. Pack just the outfit you'll require for a days meeting. You must remember to pack your carry-on with your prescribed medications and personal care. Should it happen that your luggage get lost your carry-on has what you need most. Are you gong on vacation? Pack accordingly. If you're traveling on business, of course you've packed as you'll need. Many people don't like air travel because they suffer form motion sickness. If nausea is a difficulty while riding on an airplane, think before hand what the better way to handle the situation is. The majority of drugs used to control this ailment are designed to control the nausea before it begins. Use the medication well before your airplane taxis out toward your vacation. When using this medication don't eat too much or drink alcohol beforehand. Keep a small supply of crackers or dry bread and water or juice with you incase you feel ill. The best air travel advice anyone can get is to arrive at the terminal early. Since the 9/11 event, security is very strict which affects your air travel experience. You often have to be processed through more than one checkpoint. Leaving yourself enough time for these eventualities will likely result in a missed flight. Make room in your travel schedule for plenty of time for any eventuality. When you're traveling with children make sure that you pack for fun. There not much interested in airport security. For children the whole experience beyond take off and landing can be very boring. Make sure you carry a book or two, and maybe a travel board game. There are many on the market deigned to be played while in transit. Besides combating boredom they will also relieve stress. While air travel is fast but it's not always convenient. Be aware of the items you might need to bring in your carry on, as well as the nest way to entertain yourself at the airport, will go a long way to affording you a reasonable vacation. Fascinating Volcano Tours with Lanzarote and Fuerteventura Hotels

By Chris Brown Posted in Travel / No Comments »
Have you ever been to Fuerteventura and Lanzarote? If the answer to this question is no, you seriously need to consider a holiday here. It can be very affordable too, and you can decide whether you want to stay in an apartment, hotel or a luxurious all inclusive resort. Hotels are modestly priced too, so you won't need to break the bank in order to have a few days off work. This summer promises to be very exciting for these Canary Islands, and there are lots of volcanic tours going on, so all you have to do is get involved! Lanzarote is a dreamy destination that is great for family holidays. It has the perfect mix of sun, sea and sand which makes it such an ideal place to go in the summer months. There is an abundance of Lanzarote hotels to choose from, so you can ensure you find the perfect place from home. If you have an interest in geology you'll be pleased to know that there are some excellent tours on the island offering exploration of its fascinating volcanic landscapes. Most tours will incorporate the same main attractions, but some offer fuller itineraries than others so check carefully - it's worth paying a bit extra to get the most from the experience. The Timanfaya National Park is another beautiful attraction in Lanzarote. It is home to "fire mountain", a name that tends to spark curiosity. You'll be guided round its volcanoes and craters and lots of guided tours will also treat you to some geothermal experiments such as cooking food on the volcanoes hotspots. The bay of El golfo, the hot springs and salt flats of Janubio also feature on most tours. With the longest coast line in the Canaries, it's no wonder that Fuerteventura hotels and resorts have gained a reputation for being a hotspot for watersports and beach holidays. But there is more to this island, and beneath its relaxed vibe is a fiery past. Though there have been no active volcanoes for 5000 years, the stunning lava landscapes they created remain and as such visitors here can enjoy a fascinating and varied holiday experience. After a day or two on one of its world class white sand beaches get yourself booked on one of its fabulous volcanic tours. Again, like Lanzarote most companies offer similar itineraries. Most walking tours last around 4-5 hours and are moderately challenging. Chris Brown is a travel journalist based in London who writes articles on top hotels, cruises and destinations. Great Deals on Corfu Holidays this Easter

By Chris Brown Posted in Travel / No Comments »
Have you considered Corfu as your next holiday destination? A lot of people tend to stick to the typical European destinations when choosing their next holiday. Why not branch out a bit and go on bargain holidays to Corfu? You'll be surprised at just how much there is to do here and it's perfect if all you want to do is laze around in the sun. Water-based activities are great on Corfu holidays due to the crystal clear waters. Some of the small isolated coves are only accessible by boat and there are many boat hire companies offering reasonably priced trips around the coast, usually ending with delicious beach barbecues, mainly consisting of the local 'catch'. You'll want to invest in a glass bottomed boat, as this is the only real way to see the fishes! These are available for hire from the village of Paleokastrista. They also do evening sailing voyages to the nearby islands of Antipaxos and Paxos. Whilst in Paleokastista, take a leisurely walk up to the Byzantine monastery, the Monastery of The Virgin. There is an order of monks still in residence and there are peaceful gardens and stunning views. Paleokristista, known as the Capri of Greece, is a lovely village and there are many walks around it. If you like exploring then maybe you should go on Ibiza holidays too! If you like wildlife, then a visit to the island of Tagomago is a must. This island in the north west of Ibiza is renowned for its diversity of wildlife and has a network of nature trails. Another natural phenomenon in the island is the Las Salinas Salt Flats, close to the airport and on the southern most tip of the island. Constructed by the Carthaginians, over 2000 years ago, the sparkling salt lakes make this an ideal venue to take stunning sunset photos. Stargazing is very common here too as there is good visibility and no light pollution. The caves at Can Marcha are alive with stalactites and stalagmites which have grown into distorted, wonderful shapes. A lovely place to visit when it's hot outside. Traveling to Thailand? Dos and Don’ts Every Traveler Should Know.

By ClubFreedom Posted in Videos / No Comments »
retirecheap.asia It makes sense that of you are traveling to a country very different than your home country where they have a different religion and language such as Thailand then they would also have a different set of cultural dos and don'ts as well. Digging a bugger out of your nose would throw a fellow restaurant patron into a tizzy, but not in Thailand! Guys walking over to a fence and taking a leak in broad daylight would freak out the public back home, but not in Thailand! After eating a spicy dish of food you might get a runny nose and want to give it a good "honk" to clear it out. BUT NOT IN THAILAND. This would be considered very rude. Hmmm. What else should you know? Watch. Here are some more tips. To check out the Thailand Survival Kit go to: retirecheap.asia

Breaking News Japan Earthquake.3gp

By ClubFreedom Posted in Videos / No Comments »
A powerful tsunami spawned by the largest earthquake in Japan's recorded history slammed the eastern coast Friday, sweeping away boats, cars, homes and people as widespread fires burned out of control. Tsunami warnings blanketed the entire Pacific, as far away as South America, Canada, Alaska and the entire US West Coast. Earthquakes and tsunamis can often go hand-in-hand. But why does one quake generate huge waves while another does not? Tsunamis, which can travel over the ocean surface from many hundreds of miles, can be generated when chunks of the planet's crust separate under the seafloor, causing an earthquake. Here's what happens: One slab of lifting crust essentially rapidly acts as a giant paddle, transferring its energy to the water. The resulting waves are hard to predict for several reasons. Nobody knows how a quake has affected the seafloor until hours, days or even months after the event. And a tsunami is almost imperceptible on the open ocean, rising to full ferocity only as it nears the shore. Not all seafloor earthquakes will generate a tsunami — if the friction between the crustal plates occurs very deep below the ocean floor or move in a way that causes a minimal paddle effect, a tsunami isn't as likely to form.
